Religious Education

Long before children are old enough for school or any formal religious education program, they are already beginning to grow in faith. Your children are already living and growing in the midst of a community of faith - your family. Faith happens in families first and faith-filled moments permeate all of family life. As the first and best catechists, parents are blessed with the love and grace to foster their children's spritual growth.

We are honored to partner with you in your children's faith formation, helping them grow in their relationship with God and with one another. 

Classes for the 2024-2025 year will begin September 8  and will continue through April 30.
Families must be registered with the parish to enroll in religious education.

The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a hands-on, Montessori-inspired curriculum that engages the whole child. Using a prepared hands-on environment called an atrium, children ages 3-6 are able to hear, ponder, and celebrate the most essential mysteries of faith as revealed in Scripture and Liturgy. The child and catechists work together to further their understanding of God's message through a series of presentations about the life of Christ and the Gospels, prayer, and liturgically inspired activies, practical life skills, art, and music.
