Jim Elchert

Jim was ordained a Permanent Deacon in November of 2020 and was assigned to St. Joan of Arc Parish in Powell, where he did his internship work for the previous 2 years. He was blessed to be able to come home to Our Lady of Lourdes in September of 2024. Jim, his wife Becky, and their family have been members of Our Lady of Lourdes since moving to Marysville in 1998. He comes from a family of deacons, as his late father was a deacon, and his brother and cousin both serve as deacons as well. Jim works for Kokosing Construction Company, leading a staff that helps estimate construction projects and procures all of the company’s materials and subcontracts. Jim and Becky are blessed with 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
